Who controls your information
AlphaScaled Technology Limited is the controller of personal information collected through this public website and its enquiry forms.
Data protection contact
Interim privacy lead: Jason Windle. Privacy and data-protection enquiries may be sent to dataprotection@alphascaled.com.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, business contact details, organisation, role, enquiry content, communication preferences, technical security information and records of your interactions with us.
Why we use it
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, administer prospective or existing business relationships, operate and secure the website, meet legal obligations, maintain governance records and—only where permitted—send relevant communications.
Lawful bases
Depending on the context, processing may be based on steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests in operating and protecting an institutional technology business, or consent where consent is specifically requested.
Sharing
We may share information with vetted technology, hosting, professional and compliance service providers where necessary and subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
If information is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we will use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards.
Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, legal and regulatory obligations, dispute management and security. Retention periods vary by record type and relationship.
Security
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Marketing opt-in and opt-out +
Submitting an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Any marketing opt-in is separate, optional and unticked by default.
You may withdraw consent, unsubscribe or object to direct marketing at any time. We will stop the relevant marketing and may retain limited information on a suppression list so your preference continues to be respected.
Service, security, legal or transaction-related communications are not marketing and may still be sent where necessary.
Platform disclaimers +
No investment advice
AlphaScaled does not provide investment, legal, tax or regulatory advice. Website content is general information and is not a recommendation, solicitation, offer or endorsement of any investment, manager, strategy or transaction.
No custody, execution or brokerage
AlphaScaled Technology Limited provides technology infrastructure and governance tooling. It does not take custody of money or assets, execute trades, operate an exchange, act as broker, manage investments, exercise investment discretion or provide investment recommendations. Where custody, execution, administration or professional advice is required, it is provided through client-directed arrangements and appropriately qualified third parties.
Independent responsibility
Allocators, managers and specialist partners remain responsible for their own decisions, diligence, evidence, representations, approvals and compliance obligations.
No guarantee of outcome
Use of AlphaScaled does not guarantee verification, allocator approval, allocation, performance, capital raising or regulatory acceptance. AlphaScaled Technology Limited does not itself arrange or recommend an investment merely because participants use its technology workflows.
Evidence status
Information may be submitted by third parties and may remain pending, incomplete, challenged or unverified. It must not be represented as approved or independently verified unless its status expressly confirms that result.
